I won a competition to design an outstanding wine label for Swiss Wine, showcasing their flagship product, Le Fendant. The competition was chaired by the famous DJ duo Apexape, who were also the ambassadors of the event. The jury was made up of renowned personalities such as Xavier Filliez, journalist at Le Temps, Gianluca Colla, photographer for National Geographic, Ben & Léo, the talented restaurateurs of the Café de la Fonderie, Patrice Walpen and Andy Varonier, two experienced winegrowers, Benny Tâche, editor of Open Magazine and photographer, Lorraine Wittmann, project manager at Open Magazine, Jon Bollmann, editor-in-chief of Transhelvetica, as well as Amanda Morard, blogger of Ça Valais le Détour.
The theme chosen for the Fendant label is “Aerial”, which sparked a great inspiration in me. I decided to illustrate a dancer projecting the fabric of her tunic, all in one white line on a black background. This performance manages to skillfully fuse a modern, graphic aesthetic with the inherent lightness of dance. I thus created an artistic composition that evokes grace and fluidity, capturing the very essence of the air.
